About the clinician

Rebecca is an Olympic event rider, coach, and high-performance sport advisor. She has competed for Canada at two Olympic Games, World Equestrian Games, Pan American Games as well as at the big European and North American courses with impressive results. She was deemed Canada’s top equestrian athlete of 2013 and her 10th-place finish at the 2016 Rio Olympics made her the top female rider there.

Growing up in rural south-central BC, Rebecca routinely always sought the “next level” – be it Pony Club, Young Riders, or FEI stars. Strongly influenced by the likes of Nick Holmes Smith, Joni Lynn Peters, and Robin Hahn – improvement became a lifelong goal. A decade then spent in the eastern USA, and now a decade in the UK alongside the best in the world, Rebecca’s depth of knowledge and experience continues.

A current member of Equestrian Canada’s (EC) High Performance Advisory Group (HPAG) Rebecca served as UK-based selector and then as Team Chef d’ Equipe at the 2022 World Championships in Patroni. She will continue in this role for the Canadians through to the Pan American Games this year in Santiago Chilli.

It is home to Ann Morgan, EC level II eventing coach, and her husband Geoff, owner and operator of Showcom Event Services.
